Directions for using the Calculator
To use the calculator below, click on the drop down menu and select a category. From the list of available products, click the sucralose-sweetened items you would like to add to your list. Then, click “Update My List.” You can adjust the number of servings at the bottom in the “Servings Per Week” box.
To remove an item from your list, simply click the “Remove link” next to the item. To add additional products from a different category to your list, click the “Select New” button at the top. You can even print your calorie savings list and post it on your refrigerator as a reminder!
The number of calories you save by choosing a sucralose-sweetened product in place of its full calorie counterpart appears in the “Total Calorie Savings Per Week” box at the bottom of your screen. In addition, you can also see total weight loss per year.
Keep in mind this calculator is not comprehensive. There are currently thousands of products on the market sweetened with sucralose.
